Born on August 21, 1979 in Alamar, one of Havana's working-class neighborhoods, Alexander Delgado grew up with music as his only escape. Before the world knew his name, he sold coffee cakes on the street, worked in a bakery, and played basketball — dreaming of something bigger.

What started as a teenager with a microphone in Havana became one of the most decorated careers in Latin music history. His voice would go on to be heard in 50+ countries, earn 6 Latin Grammys, and make history as the first Spanish-language artist to surpass 3 billion YouTube views.
